Founded with a mission to promote aviation opportunities for all, Elevate Aviation is a Canadian not-for-profit organization committed to fostering diversity, accessibility, and engagement in the aviation sector. With national reach and a dedicated team of volunteers, Elevate Aviation has become a force for change, breaking down barriers and creating pathways to aviation careers, particularly for women and underrepresented communities.
The organization’s core belief, “If you can see it, you can be it,” drives its innovative programming. Through mentorship initiatives, strategic partnerships, and national outreach, including its annual Cross Country Tour, Elevate Aviation introduces youth and adults alike to the possibilities in aviation. Their partnerships with the Royal Canadian Air Force and other stakeholders underscore their credibility and reach across both civil and military aviation sectors.
A standout achievement is the Elevate Learning Centre, which delivers aviation-focused education to all age groups. Programs like Junior Jets (ages 5–10) and Aviation Career Exploration (ACE) (ages 10–13) spark early interest in aviation through hands-on learning about drones, safety, security, and flight science. Instructors are deliberately chosen to reflect the diversity Elevate seeks to promote, creating relatable role models for aspiring aviators.
Elevate Aviation’s impact is strengthened by its coast-to-coast presence and commitment to removing systemic barriers. Their programming is offered free of charge, emphasizing inclusion over profit, and ensuring accessibility to all who are interested in aviation careers, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Through its tireless work to elevate voices, educate youth, and inspire future generations, Elevate Aviation exemplifies the values of leadership, service, and vision. For its outstanding contribution to the future of aviation and its alignment with the values of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, Elevate Aviation is awarded the Master’s North American Trophy.
